Spring Cake Smash

Sweet Ellie was in my studio a few short weeks ago for her spring cake smash! Her Momma was torn between a classic spring style, and a colorful pastel style for her little one’s special first birthday photos!

While planning cake smash sessions, I always ask my clients if they have a certain color scheme they want to use! Ellie’s Mom was undecided between a super adorable fresh, and classic spring style or lots of fun pastel colors! I immediately started thinking of ideas for this smash, as I also LOVE both of those styles! If anyone knows me, they know I’m a total sucker for everything pastel. I told her we can totally do both for Ellie’s session!

We started Ellie’s session with a super sweet and classic spring look. Incorporating flowers, and lots of airy white with hints of pink! How cute is that dress? It’s actually a dress I have in studio! <3 We ended with Ellie’s adorable spring pastel cake smash! She LOVED it!! Mom and I had to cut her off from all that sugar!
