In addition, to high quality professional products from digital images, to beautiful prints, wall art, and boutique albums. In a world of digital it’s important to have your beautiful memories preserved with hard copies you can touch, feel, and hang within your home. Not only are high quality images and experience a priority for my client’s session, using real color and stunning light within my photography is as well. Have your session stand out from your family and friend’s by using fun colors, and patterns for your child’s studio session, evening sunlight dripping with gold, or with cotton candy skies for your families location session.

Milwaukee photographer location sessions are carefully planned based on what style my client is looking for. I love photographing families in Southeastern Wisconsin in large open fields, beach areas, Downtown Milwaukee as well as local parks. Milwaukee County has a variety of gorgeous scenery around that can suit every desire. Studio portrait sessions are in my private studio located in the Wauwatosa Village. My studio is fully equipped with an assortment of props and unique backdrops for children and newborns. As well classic backdrops for families. Although the winter months can be stunning for outdoor sessions, it does get incredibly cold in Milwaukee! Booking your session with Kellie Roman Photography means an ease of studio scheduling.

All sessions and details including location, outfit choices, and any customization will be carefully planned out between Client and Milwaukee Photographer. This is to ensure everything comes together perfect for your portrait session. Ever hear of image stacking? Edit this snowflake along with me…

I decided a few weeks ago to pick up my macro lens, that I haven’t used in a while to try out some snowflake shots. ❄️

Not super easy. A lot of patience is required. 😂

I needed some special equipment to photograph these incredibly tiny and delicate snowflakes.

But it was so worth it. 💯

Since macro photography has a very shallow depth of field, it can be hard to get the entire snowflake on the same focal plane without moving it or having it lay completely flat on my surface. Resulting in some post process image stacking! Taking multiple shots with different parts of the snowflake in focus, then essentially stacking the images on top of each other so the entire snowflake is in focus. 🤗

Although this is a very simple tutorial using only 2 images, and the bottom of snowflake isn’t in focus. It gives you a great appreciation for macro photography, and the unseen beauty of winter in Wisconsin! ❄️❄️❄️
