Foral Milestone Session

I’m always amazed at how fast time goes when my newborn clients turn a year old! Miss (B) was such a gem to photograph for her newborn session, and I was excited to photograph a floral milestone session for her during her one year shoot! It was fun catching up with her momma, since we know each other from years past.

Mom had sent me a few outfits she had picked for (B’s) one year, milestone session. Her birthday is in March, so that time of the year you can either go winter colors, or spring colors! Mom had chosen a little bit of both! A cute mix of flowers with army green, and blush pink.

When I originally photographed (B), Mom had let me know she was just getting over an ear infection. We went on with the session, and definitely had gotten some cute shots. However, it just didn’t seem like (B) was smiling like her normal self. I went ahead and invited her and Mom back in when she was feeling better. Unfortunately it took a few weeks to get back to the studio, but I’m SO glad they did!

The second time around Mom brought in a super cute blush pink dress. It matched perfectly with one of my favorite floral backdrops, from an amazing vendor Intuition Backgrounds. (B) was definitely feeling a lot more like herself, and we ended up with so many cute smiling shots of her!
