Award Winning Milwaukee Photographer
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Community Choice Awards are back for 2026, and I’ve been NOMINATED AGAIN! Whoo hoo! How exciting is that? I won this prestigious award last year, in 2025 in the Photography/Videography category, so let’s hope I can go two for two! As an award winning Milwaukee photographer it’s so fun to be nominated a second time around!
Long Process
As I blogged about last year, which you can see HERE. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Community Choice awards is quite a long process when it comes to voting. The preliminary phase starts in March. This phase is to nominate local Milwaukee businesses in 150 different categories! You simply submit their names, and can do so once per day for most of the month of March. Then, the top 5 finalists are chosen for the final voting round. This round started a few days ago, and runs until May 18th! Then, only the top 3 businesses in each category are invited to a wonderful gala dinner event during the month of July where winners are announced!
