Such an incredible sunset we had on this gorgeous summer evening. As a Milwaukee family photographer, I get so excited when I have sessions scheduled on nights like this one! The mosquitoes were out in full force, but would it even be summer in Milwaukee if they weren’t? Nope!

Stunning Sunset in Milwaukee

This stunning sunset in Milwaukee was so intense with vibrant colors! It was absolutely to die for! My Milwaukee client’s chose the perfect location to show it off for their family photo session! Had we been in a spot with lots of trees, it wouldn’t have had nearly the same effect. I feel like many nights I don’t have clients during the warmer months is when the sky lights up and is beautiful, I was so excited to get to photograph my wonderful client’s with the most magical sky!

Candid Family Photos

I always do a mix of candid family photos, along with some posed shots as well. Candid images are so much fun, and really show off my client’s family dynamic and children’s personalities! It’s a big trend for that raw emotion within family photography, which is so awesome! However, it is nice to have some posed images as well where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling! I always do a great mix of both, this way when my client’s view their images they can choose which they love best.
