Serious About Her Smash

I love seeing “my” newborns once they turn the big ONE! Little Charlotte was just that, little the last time I saw her. She came to the studio this time around for her one year milestone session and cake smash! She was VERY serious about her smash!

When I did Charlotte’s newborn pictures she brought her two big brothers with! It was so fun working with this family, so I was happy to have them back to the studio! This time around Momma snuck away from Dad and the boys and had some fun one on one time for Charlotte’s cake smash in my Milwaukee studio.

Prior to her milestone session we talked about outfits and colors. Mom wanted to do a fun pink and gold cake smash, along with a cute white dress with gold metallic stripes. I always start my cake smash sessions with a fun backdrop or two and then move onto the smash. Charlotte decided to be very serious during both the non and the cake smash portions of her milestone session! Mom and I tried SO hard to get her to smile and laugh, but she just wasn’t having it! She gave us a few cute smiles while she dug into her cake towards the end, and that hilarious face in the cake shot! AH! Sometimes you gotta just get in there!
