Newborn Twin Pics

When Sykeshia contacted me about doing her newborn twin pics I was so happy! It’s SO fun to photograph one newborn, but twins is of course – twice the fun!

With newborn twin sessions comes a little bit of uncertainty with how well the babies will do. If they will both sleep, and if they will sleep AT THE SAME TIME! Sometimes even with one newborn baby they can be awake the majority of the session. I really lucked out with these adorable twin boys, since they did an amazing job and slept SO great for me!

I was trilled at the number of fun set ups and poses we got to do during this newborn twin session in my Milwaukee studio. It was so funny doing the shot with the boys in the wood crate with their chins resting on their hands. Dad was super impressed when I got the first baby posed like this, you can imagine his reaction when I got the second baby in the crate!

Prior to my clients coming in, I ask what color scheme they would like, as well as having them send me some pics of their nursery. This way I can get a solid idea of their sense of style. Mom really liked darker colors. The nursery was shades of dark blue, navy, and hints of gold. At the session she said she wanted to do more of a “night time” vibe for the boys nursery. I love how this color scheme came together, and the consistency of the blues and navy colors throughout the session. Editing this session was so fun, they turned out SO gorgeous!
