Fun Little Maternity Session

Let me just start by saying, I can’t believe how fast time goes! It’s so apparent when you take newborn photos for a client, they come back and all of the sudden their baby is now a few years old. Of course having kids of my own, and quite a few nieces and nephews you realize how fast kids grow up and how quickly time flies by. THIS family is so sweet, and laid back. I was so excited when mom contacted me again about my maternity and newborn packages.  I took Mr. (E’s) newborn photos, and I can’t wait to meet his new little sister! I remember when mom and (E) came for his newborn photos, and she had a lot of fun props with her! The one that REALLY is memorable is this super adorable grey elephant hamper! Totally awesome right? She wanted me to take a few shots of him on top of it! Luckily he slept pretty great, and we got the images mom wanted. I’m so excited to meet the 4th member of this awesome family!

Hey there, hey! 👋🏻

With a bunch of new followers, I thought I’d re-introduce myself! I’m Kellie - yes… spelled with an IE NOT a Y. 😆 Often times, I introduce myself like this in person.. because it gets people to remember my name- and gets a laugh lol. I’ve spent my whole life spelling it to people, it doesn’t bother me though. I’d rather have a unique spelling than the norm. 😁

Yes, I’m tall. No, I did not play basketball as a kid. (If you’re a tall girl you’ll get me 😂)

My favorite season is SUMMER! The hotter and more humid the better! ☀️

I absolutely have a favorite type of session to photograph, but I won’t put it in writing because sometimes it changes. 😉

My work is bold with vibrant colors, strong outdoor lighting, and touch of whimsy all around! We live in a world of color, and color makes people HAPPY! 🤗

I got my start in photography in high school, then went to college for photography as well! I’ve been in business for 15 years, but have over 20 years of experience!! 📸

I recently won the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Community Choice Award in the photography category, which was pretty exciting! 💯

A big goal of mine when working with client’s is not only to provide stunning final images, but an awesome time! Your photo session should be fun and exciting, not stressful or a chore. 🫣 Of course I take my job seriously, but I’m a laid back - joke telling- go with the flow type of person. My clients leave their sessions feeling less like clients and more like friends. And that’s exactly how it should be. ❤️
