Wild Things Cake Smash

Gah, Little {M} how are you one year old already? Mom had some fun ideas with a Where The Wild Things Are cake smash for his first birthday!! This is such a fun book and theme for young kiddos. Mom was super excited that {M’s} aunt had bought him a wolf suit as well! Seriously such a cute outfit to bring along to his themed first birthday session. Love how this Wild Things cake smash turned out!

Momma also was hoping to get a few nautical type shots of her little man as well. Of course being a Navy wife, and a sucker for all things nautical I had quite a few things on hand.

I photographed little {M} last when he was about 3 months old. He had spent several weeks in the hospital after birth and needed heart surgery. As you can imagine his parents were thrilled to finally get him home. I was so flattered when his mom asked me to photograph him at that age, and of course I was super excited to photograph him again at 1 year old!
