Sweet Newborn

This sweet newborn was one of the first sessions in my new studio a few weeks ago!

Lindsey had booked me several months before her due date which is always recommended!  Once little Margot was born she needed a few procedures done, and was in the NICU for some time. Having her newborn photos taken needed to be held off for a little while.

When Lindsey let me know Margot was doing well, we set up her session date and time. I was so excited to meet them since Margot was actually two months old by the time we did her newborn session! Can you believe that? TWO months old, and Miss Margot rocked her session! She was SO easy to work with, falling asleep here and there during her session. She really loved to be swaddled, and made some of the cutest expressions!

For those photographers out there, we know how the bucket pose goes. Newborns reaaaallly need to be sleeping to get them in a good pose within the bucket prop. I couldn’t believe how sweet little Margot was in that fluffy, airy bucket! Those big round eyes, and cute little mouth. Not to mention she was posing so great while a heating and cooling guy was walking past checking out the HVAC. haha!!
