How adorable is this little themed super hero newborn session? Mom contacted me after little man was born, with these fun ideas of baby with Spider Man, and other super heroes! I did his big brothers newborn photos almost 3 years ago, and I was so happy to hear that mom had another little boy.

While talking to mom on the phone, she told me how much she loved super heroes (mostly Batman and Spiderman) and thought it would be fun to incorporate the theme into a few of the baby’s photo session! She even made this adorable Spiderman mask the morning of the session. How funny!!  She noticed on another website, an awesome backdrop of a cityscape. While browsing MY website, she noticed the exact same backdrop and called me to see if I still had it. I, in fact still had the backdrop and it worked out perfectly with the themed photos.

Outside of the fun super hero themed photos we wanted to do a few simple and sweet images as well. I love the way the last ones turned out. It is so simple and I love how peaceful he looks sleeping.

When hiring a professional photographer whether its for a family, maternity, newborn, senior, cake smash, or any other important event it’s a great idea to think about what you want to do with those beautiful images ahead of your session. 💭

Wanting/getting strictly digital images may seem like the most convenient route to go. But is it?

Often times those digitals sit on our computers or hard drives. We say we’re going to print them, but ultimately it gets put on the back burner. Often times it never gets done, as time gets away from us way too quickly.

I’ve heard from many clients years after their sessions that they never printed them and their computer crashed. Hopeful I still had their stunning memories.

As technology changes and time passes, it’s best to talk to your photographer about your plans to ensure your beautiful shots aren’t going to get lost years down the road. ❤️
