Newborn Pics

I’d like to introduce my newest niece {M}!! Of course I couldn’t wait to do her newborn pics as soon as my brother and sister in law announced they were expecting. It’s such a fun part of being a photographer, taking photos of my own kids and my family members. I took a few solo shots of big sister {C} while we were getting her new little sister ready for the session.

My sister in law wanted a similar color scheme with {M} as with their older daughter, but didn’t want it to look exactly the same. She also really wanted a light and airy feel for the newborn pics. I’m in love with this bedding set up, so for sure we decided on that one! I wanted to keep the color scheme as light and airy as possible, so for bean bag posing we went with soft tones with pops of of pinks and purples. I used a super gorgeous mohair bonnet with my cream colored fur rug, as well as beautiful floral headbands from a favorite local Wisconsin vendor of mine.

I’m loving SO many of these soft newborn pics, I had to overshare a little bit. Plus, ya know, I’m a little biased and think she is one of the cutest newborns ever!
