Maternity Gowns

Maternity sessions are always so unique and different. So much of it depends on location, and if it’s your first baby, or if you have small children who are running around like crazy during your session. For this fun couple it’s their first. I absolutely LOVE how easy going Alyssa was and the fact that she brought these maternity gowns for her special photos.

How stunning is this couple?! Alyssa was gorgeous in these amazing maternity gowns she brought with to her maternity session in Kenosha. The red one made these images just POP, she looks like a movie star or something! She was a trooper being so pregnant, yet still finding a way to secretly finagle outfits and change in the woods haha! I don’t think I could have done it myself.

The shots of Alyssa and her hubby in the river are my absolutely favorite! She told me she grew up on a farm, so she’s all about getting dirty and not worrying about getting her dress wet. Her husband was a bit more couscous with his jeans, but I don’t blame him. He didn’t have a change of clothes with him!

I really love the last few images of them in the flowers as well! You’d NEVER guess, but these were actually taken in the middle of a parking lot. Sounds crazy, and I’m sure to my client’s they thought so too haha. It just goes to show what other people see as..well…the middle of a parking lot… a good photographer sees a gorgeous spot with so much opportunity.
