Kenosha Photography :: Featured Photographer!!

As most of you know, I am a proud Navy wife of 8 years now. A few months ago my mom told me about an organization called  The Rosie Network . This organization was even published in Woman’s Day Magazine. It is an AMAZING  group of women who wanted to help out military wives who own small businesses. The Rosie Network is an awesome search website for people to type in what services or products they are in need of, and it will come up with all military owned small businesses in their area. How cool is that?!!  I decided I needed to take part in such an awesome organization, so I created my business account with them. Just two weeks ago I was featured on the Rosie Network’s Facebook fan page!! I was so excited to be featured as a Kenosha Photography business on such an awesome business Facebook page! 
 
Even COOLER…. last week I was contacted by another organization called Bravo Zulu Sisterhood. Another awesome military organization who likes to interview, and feature different military wives who own successful businesses. They wanted to do a week featuring photographers. Of course I said yes, that I would LOVE to take part in the interview. Just yesterday Bravo Zulu Sisterhood featured me, and my interview on their website, Facebook page, twitter, and instagram.  SOO cool!!! I was so honored and flattered that they wanted to feature ME.. Kellie Roman Photography on their website and social media sites. Hey there, hey! 👋🏻

With a bunch of new followers, I thought I’d re-introduce myself! I’m Kellie - yes… spelled with an IE NOT a Y. 😆 Often times, I introduce myself like this in person.. because it gets people to remember my name- and gets a laugh lol. I’ve spent my whole life spelling it to people, it doesn’t bother me though. I’d rather have a unique spelling than the norm. 😁

Yes, I’m tall. No, I did not play basketball as a kid. (If you’re a tall girl you’ll get me 😂)

My favorite season is SUMMER! The hotter and more humid the better! ☀️

I absolutely have a favorite type of session to photograph, but I won’t put it in writing because sometimes it changes. 😉

My work is bold with vibrant colors, strong outdoor lighting, and touch of whimsy all around! We live in a world of color, and color makes people HAPPY! 🤗

I got my start in photography in high school, then went to college for photography as well! I’ve been in business for 15 years, but have over 20 years of experience!! 📸

I recently won the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Community Choice Award in the photography category, which was pretty exciting! 💯

A big goal of mine when working with client’s is not only to provide stunning final images, but an awesome time! Your photo session should be fun and exciting, not stressful or a chore. 🫣 Of course I take my job seriously, but I’m a laid back - joke telling- go with the flow type of person. My clients leave their sessions feeling less like clients and more like friends. And that’s exactly how it should be. ❤️
