Golden Summer

I was so flattered when my good friend asked me to photograph her sweet family! After rescheduling due to rain and cold, then again because of whipping winds, we finally got her session in! Yippie!!! Her girls are the most adorable sweetest little things, so I KNEW they would do awesome! Older sis had SO many model poses for me! Haha she had me cracking up, but these girls in all honestly could easily be in modeling.

I feel like this summer is one of those…that randomly rains and clears up and rains and clears up. It rained earlier in the day but we decided to hold off to see what the evening was going to be like. I’m so glad we did! Although the sand on the beach in Kenosha had that funky “rained on” look….I feel like this session turned out beautifully.

My friend {N} wanted to do some photos by the large rocks in Kenosha. This is the exact spot her and her husband had their wedding photos taken. This location is sentimental for them, and they thought it would be so cool to go back and take family photos in the same spot. I loved the way the images of the girls turned out on the rocks!

Next, we cruised on over to where the “boardwalk” is. I’m in love with the lighting in this area! I feel like with this golden summer sun it put a warm beach hue on the images. In all reality it wasn’t even that warm out!
