Children Photography

One of my favorite types of sessions besides newborns are milestones! Children photography is so much fun! Each and every one of their expressions can change the whole mood from one image to the next. I love being able to focus on one little child during milestone sessions and getting to know them and how they respond to funny noises and goofy songs. It’s so interesting how even at the ripe “old” age of ONE you can have your own little personality already!

This gorgeous little girl was definitely more serious during her 1 year milestone session. We did get some sweet smiles out of her when her daddy was running around acting silly! She really loved having music on as well.

I love these adorable outfits her mom picked out for her! We had a love of similar clothing styles and brands, so it was fun talking about outfits and where she bought them from. She snapped a few pics and emailed them to be before the session which was so helpful in planning her sessions backdrops and colors.

Mom was hoping to have some cute shots with a teepee as well. I love how this turned out with these pretty pink flowers on top that matched just perfect with her adorable pink outfit! Of course we had to do a more fun, festive first birthday set up as well!! Mom and Dad had a unicorn theme party for {E}, so mom chose these cute colors based off that…and of course her adorable dress!
